Lance Corporal Lawrence George Bryan, Columbus, Ohio, age 19.
Died in the first minutes of an intense mortar barrage on LZ Margo in the DMZ on September 16, 1968, caught in the open near the waterhole with a number of Marines from Echo Company.
He was a well-respected gunner in his mortar squad.
